I have a service that depends on some shares (NFS shares ) that need to be mounted before before the service start so the service-app finds the NFS shares and starts correctly...
I am confused here this is what I found but I am not sure what to do in order to change it
BTW is Suse 11
this is rc3.d and rc5.d
any idea?
Edit
I found something K - Kill - S - Start for the services
so in this case I just need to start tsm(S01) after nfs(S05) since it looks like the shutdown process is OK TSM is shutdown first (K01) and NFS after (K04)
so in my case I need change just the start order so NFS start first than TSM
thanks a lot

Hello,
I'm quite new to perl so my question is rather basic and I know there is probably a simple way around it but I can't seem to find it.
I have a medium-length code and there is a part that works with a nested for loop:
foreach my $j(@primpiddelta){
for (my $k=1;... (0 Replies)
I have this END section in an awk script:
END {
for (j in littlebin)
{
print (j, int(log(j)/log(2)) , littlebin)
lbsum+=littlebin
}
for (i in bins)

UMOUNT.NFS(8) System Manager's Manual UMOUNT.NFS(8)NAME
umount.nfs, umount.nfs4 - unmount a Network File System
SYNOPSIS
umount.nfs dir [-fvnrlh ]
DESCRIPTION
umount.nfs and umount.nfs4 are a part of nfs(5) utilities package, which provides NFS client functionality.
umount.nfs4 and umount.nfs are meant to be used by the umount(8) command for unmounting NFS shares. This subcommand, however, can also be
used as a standalone command with limited functionality.
dir is the directory on which the file system is mounted.
OPTIONS -f Force unmount the file system in case of unreachable NFS system.
-v Be verbose.
-n Do not update /etc/mtab. By default, an entry is created in /etc/mtab for every mounted file system. Use this option to skip delet-
ing an entry.
-r In case unmounting fails, try to mount read-only.
-l Lazy unmount. Detach the file system from the file system hierarchy now, and cleanup all references to the file system as soon as it
is not busy anymore.
-h Print help message.
NOTE
For further information please refer nfs(5) and umount(8) manual pages.
