Run "cksum /usr/sbin/bootinfo" and hopefully someone with a working 2.2.1.4 install can run it too and you can compare the results. I'd show you, but I'm on 2.2.1.3:

vio server ethernet to vio client ethernet(concepts confusing)

Hi In the vio server when I do # lsattr -El hdisk*, I get a PVID. The same PVID is also seen when I put the lspv command on the vio client partition. NAME

       devnm - device name

SYNOPSIS

       /usr/sbin/devnm name [name...]

DESCRIPTION

       The devnm command identifies the special file associated with the mounted file system where the argument name resides. One or more name can
