I just upgraded to Android 2.2 from 2.1. The GPS issue that was troublesome in 2.1 seems to have been fixed. Simply question which should I use. correct me if I'm wrong but Solaris Express is taking the place of Opensolaris and is officially sanctioned by Oracle and OpenIndiana is what used to be OpenSolaris.

I have oi_151a7 and installed from sfe fuse-ext, libfuse and e2fsprogs. Mount e.g.
# mount -F ext2fs /dev/dsk/c4t0d0p1 /mnt
returns
"mount: Operation not applicable to FSType ext2fs"
and
$ fuse-ext2 /dev/dsk/c4t0d0p1 ~/tmp/a/

Solution:
Using bmake was the key. Ran into some few errors when using the compilers and the trick here was to first install the pkg system/header and then assign the working compiler in command line like this:
bmake CC=/path/to/relevant/gcc CXX=/path/to/relevant/g++... (0 Replies)

install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
