I had a similar issue with an AIX boxes running Informix. Increasing the paging size seemed to fix the issue.

Hi,
Can anyone please advise a universal command option for using sar to check for paging/memory issues.
For Linux, I used sar -B and check on the majflt/s column and a high number is supposed to indicate paging issues, is that correct?

My script contains some command like 'dos2unix' and 'unix2dos' which are not compatible in AIX flavour. Please let me know if there is any such commands in AIX which can replace these commands.

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
This function closes a DB2 client connection created with db2_connect(3) and returns the corresponding resources to the database server.
If you attempt to close a persistent DB2 client connection created with db2_pconnect(3), the close request is ignored and the persistent
DB2 client connection remains available for the next caller.
PARAMETERS

- Specifies an active DB2 client connection.
RETURN VALUES
Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.
