I am not sure whether I am in the right forum, but... I am trying to compile a program on aix5.2.0.0 which requires the use of blas, lapack, blacs scalapack. I am getting the following error msg whcih I can't get rid off!

The servers used here will be P Class Blades

This is the password aging script for aix just completed. So far tested and still testing on one of our aix server running 5.3.0.0. in trying to rectify a stale lv problem I ran rmlvcopy <lv> 1 <primary disk> leaving the original os disk without lv copies other than the stale lv.
Both disks seem operational, but, lsvg rootg shows 1 stale pv.
The end goal is to re-attach the lv's back to hdisk1, and then attempt a reboot... (11 Replies)

gdm-restart, gdm-safe-restart, gdm-stop - stop or restart GDM SYNOPSIS
gdm-restart gdm-safe-restart gdm-stop DESCRIPTION
gdm-restart stops and restarts GDM by sending a HUP signal to the GDM daemon. This command immediately terminates all sessions and logs out users currently logged in with GDM. gdm-safe-restart stops and restarts GDM by sending a USR1 signal to the GDM daemon. GDM is restarted as soon as all users log out. gdm-stop stops GDM by sending a TERM signal to the GDM daemon. FILES
