Perl Script not working on all directories

Hi there,
say the package is in the ~/ and it's ~/packageFoo.pm
I can use usePackage.pl in ~/ (~/usePackage.pl).
Now, if I move it to ~/subDIR/usePackage.pl, the script won't work because it's not in the same DIR with packageFoo.pm
How can i fix it?

i am new to perl. i am writing a perl script. i want to know how to change the working directories? for ex. i have a perl script in c:\proj\ . i want to run this script in this directory but i need my script to change its working directory to D:\xyz\ dynamically in the script.

Hi Experts!!
I have written a very simple script in perl.The script is :
$ cat 1.pl
#!/usr/bin/perl
print "Hi there!\n";
When i ran the above perl script it is showing the following error:
$ perl 1.pl
-ksh: cd: bad substitution

Trying to figure out why this works:
printpwd.pl
#!/usr/bin/perl
use CGI::Carp qw( fatalsToBrowser );
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
$A = system("pwd");
$A = `pwd`;
print "$A\n";

Hi,
I want to run a Perl script on multiple files, with same name ("Data.txt") but in different directories (eg : 2010_06_09_A/Data.txt, 2010_06_09_B/Data.txt).
I know how to run this perl script on files in the same directory like:
for $i in *.txt
do

How can i run the same perl script on 100 files and file name.txt
I want to run

new [sequences] [-mode mode] [-folders foldersfile] [-version] [-help] fnext is equivalent to new -mode fnext fprev is equivalent to new -mode fprev unseen is equivalent to new -mode unseen DESCRIPTION
New in its default mode produces a one-line-per-folder listing of all folders containing messages in the listed sequences or in the sequences listed in the profile entry "Unseen-Sequence". Each line contains the folder, the number of messages in the desired sequences, and the message lists from the .mh_sequences file. For example: foo 11.* 40-50 bar 380. 760-772 824-828 total 391. The `*' on foo indicates that it is the current folder. The last line shows the total number of messages in the desired sequences. New crawls the folder hierarchy recursively to find all folders, and prints them in lexicographic order. Override this behavior by provid- ing foldersfile containing the pre-sorted list of folders new should check, one per line. In fnext and fprev modes, new instead changes to the next or previous matching folder, respectively. In unseen mode, new executes scan sequences for each matching folder. FILES
