Perl 5.8.8 licensing issues

I have a question about the perl license on Solaris machine. The scenario is we have perl 5.6.1 installed on Solaris server. Our developers are planning to use a module which is not installed on the server. We did search CPAN website and found some availability matrix CPAN Testers Matrix: OLE-Storage_Lite 0.19. This availability matrix indicates that the OLE StorageLite.pm perl module is not available with Perl 5.6.1 version, but it is available with Perl 5.8.8 version. I am not sure, if the sysadmin can upgrade to the perl version 5.8.8 after doing all the impact analysis. do we need to purchase license to install 5.8.8

Please help Thank you very much in advance Smilie
