I tried it out as I have an interest in SPARC emulators for a number of reasons.

By the way, I can confirm that it works on Fedora 16. The Java terminal emulator is a bit flaky - maybe because it is Open JDK by default. Would be nice if a more-up-to-date and complete version of OBP was provided. You can get the full SMI sources for openboot 4.23.0 at coreboot.org. It was donated by SMI.

SparcStation 20 Crashed. Doesn't boot.

I have sparc Station 20 which is crashed and doesn't boot from the OK prompt except gives me bunch of errors. How can i retrieve my data from the root drive before go for re-installation. These functions retrieve information on a SMIng event definition (SMIng). smiGetEvent(SmiClass *smiClassPtr, char *name) returns a pointer to struct SmiEvent for the event with the given name in the given class(smiClassPtr), or NULL if the event with the given name does not exist smiGetFirstEvent(SmiClass *smiClassPtr) and smiGetNextEvent(SmiEvent *smiEventPtr) are used to iterate through the events of the class given by smiClassPtr.
