NOTE:
This 160GB drive that is mounted is my internal one, not the external that I am trying to mount.
Aperently im not getting a a drive letter like /dev/sdb1 or /dev/sdc1 or whatever.
dmesg gives me the vender id which is:
idVendor=13fd, idProduct=1618
so what can i do with that?
Thanks in advance

Hi...
question is this:
How do I mount an LVD hotswap scsi drive in bay #2 on a netra using the mount command? volmgt doesn't seem to mount it and/or I don't know how to view the drives data if it's formatted which it may not be. This drive is not new out of the box so I'm not sure.

I am using Redhat 9 Linux, and am trying to get my external usb drive mounted (fat32). If I look at the KDE Control panel, it lists a usb 2.0 storage device under "USB Devices" (also in /proc/bus/usb), and under "SCSI" as scsi1. I looked at /proc/scsi/usb-storage-0, and it lists it there also. What... (6 Replies)

Device::USB::DevEndpoint(3pm) User Contributed Perl Documentation Device::USB::DevEndpoint(3pm)
Device::USB::DevEndpoint
This class encapsulates a USB Device endpoint and the methods that object would support.
NAME
Device::USB::DevEndpoint - Access a device endpoint returned by libusb.
VERSION
Version 0.11
SYNOPSIS
Device::USB:DevEndpoint provides a Perl object for accessing an endpoint of an interface of a USB device using the libusb library.
use Device::USB;
my $usb = Device::USB->new();
my $dev = $usb->find_device( $VENDOR, $PRODUCT );
printf "Device: %04X:%04X
", $dev->idVendor(), $dev->idProduct();
$dev->open();
my $cfg = $dev->config()->[0];
my $inter = $cfg->interfaces()->[0]->[0];
my $ep = $inter->endpoints()->[0];
print "Endpoint:", $inter->bEndpointAddress(),
" name: ", $dev->get_string_simple($iter->iInterface()), "
";
See USB specification for an explanation of the attributes of an endpoint.
DESCRIPTION
This module defines a Perl object that represents the data associated with a USB interface endpoint. The object provides read-only access
to the important data associated with the endpoint.
METHODS
There are several accessor methods that return data from the interface. Each is named after the field that they return. These accessors
include:
bEndpointAddress
bmAttributes
wMaxPacketSize
bInterval
bRefresh
bSynchAddress
DIAGNOSTICS
This is an explanation of the diagnostic and error messages this module can generate.
DEPENDENCIES
This module depends on the Carp, Inline and Inline::C modules, as well as the strict and warnings pragmas. Obviously, libusb must be
available since that is the entire reason for the module's existence.
