Hi all,
I have a System i server with a couple of AIX LPARs.
One of the LPARs owns a dual-channel scsi adapter to which I connect a tape library (IBM TS3100) and a DVD Drive.
I had some problems to get the Tape Library detected but finally I got it:

Hi forum,
I have two servers. Both running same version 4.3.3 TL11.
On one of them efix IX85104 is installed but missing on another server.
I have tried to find it and download it but it's just too old.
Is there any way that I could extract/copy this efix from server where it's present... (1 Reply)

Trying to get the IP address of the HMC connected to some servers running AIX 6 and 7. I thought this would be as easy as running 'lsrsrc IBM.MCP IPAddresses', but when I run that command, the resource is empty. NAME
ksplice-view - View in-kernel or on-disk Ksplice kernel updates
SYNOPSIS
ksplice-view
ksplice-view --id=KSPLICE_ID
ksplice-view --file={UPDATE_TARBALL | UPDATE_TREE}
DESCRIPTION
When called with no arguments, ksplice-view lists the identification tags of all of the Ksplice updates that are currently present in the
running kernel, along with their descriptions.
ksplice-view can report about a specific Ksplice update when given the update's identification tag KSPLICE_ID (if the update is in the
kernel) or given the update's tarball filename UPDATE_TARBALL or unpacked tree root UPDATE_TREE (if the update is on disk).
OPTIONS
--id=KSPLICE_ID
Report information about the Ksplice update KSPLICE_ID currently loaded in the running kernel.
--file={UPDATE_TARBALL | UPDATE_TREE}
Report information about the Ksplice update on disk as the tarball UPDATE_TARBALL or unpacked as the tree UPDATE_TREE.
-q Output only the update IDs, one per line, omitting descriptions.
