how to set/get shell env variable in python script

greetings,

i have a sh script that calls a python script. the sh script sets an env variable BIN:
Code:
export BIN=bin64

i need to get that BIN variable's value and use it within this python script. anyone know how to do this? thanx in advance.

This manual page documents briefly the otl2html Python script. otl2html is a is a python(1) script that converts a vimoutliner(1) outline to HTML. otl2html script called just with filename of the processed outline will produce HTML document on standard output. OPTIONS
