create a spool file based on values passed from korn shell to sql script
this is my issue.
4 parameters are passed from korn shell to sql script.
But I have to use these 4 parameters in the select statement. And this is my problem. How to initialize these parameters to get all rows when the user does not enter any value?
I am attempting to itterate through a file that has multiple lines and for each one read the entire line and use the value then to search in other files. The script utility makes a record of everything printed on your screen. The record is written to filename. If no file name is given, the
record is saved in the file typescript. See WARNINGS.
The script command forks and creates a sub-shell, according to the value of $SHELL, and records the text from this session. The script ends
when the forked shell exits or when Control-d is typed.

The following option is supported:
-a Appends the session record to filename, rather than overwriting it.
