As I understand it a BFF isn't a disk image, just a package file, so if you burn it as a CD containing a .bff file, AIX ought to be able to use the CD.

hi i downloaded solaris 8 and 9 iso from sun.com. i can mount it with winmount and i can see files. but when running it from vmware it won't boot. i even do it on physical server, it won't boot as well. what should i do to make this installation boot? thanks itik (1 Reply)

I just had someone ask me for AIX 4.3.3 media; I used to have it, but the disks got thrown out a couple of years ago when we moved between buildings. Does anyone have 4.3 ISO's handy, or would be willing to make ISO images for me? Thanks! (4 Replies)

brasero - Simple and easy to use CD/DVD burning application for the GNOME Desktop SYNOPSIS
brasero [options] [uri] [uri] ... DESCRIPTION
Brasero is an easy-to-use application for burning CD-R/Ws and DVD-R/Ws. With Brasero you can create data, audio, or video CDs, DVDs, and SVCDs. You can copy existing disks, use image files, or create new projects. Brasero includes tools such as a media previewer, integrity checker and a cover creator. OPTIONS
