Doesn't seem to have much to say about how to activate ACPI, which is what I am after. Most of what I try, e.g. pm-utils, is only present on the occasional system.

We have an AIX machine running Tomcat 5.0.28 along with Java 1.5. There are two web application on there however when we start Tomcat and unpack the WAR files only one of the sites work. Title says it all. Occasionally but frequently I lose sound: external speakers and headphones both make no noise. acpi Shows information from the /proc or the /sys filesystem, such as battery status or thermal information. OPTIONS
