Fedora is a community distribution sponsored, but not owned, by Red Hat. It started when the original Red Hat distribution was discontinued in favor of RHEL. Personally, I see it as a kind of testbed/incubator for RHEL as far as software is concerned. But their repositories are completely separated, meaning Fedora doesn't use software from RHN and vice versa.
If you're looking for a free variant of RHEL, take a look at
Scientific Linux or
CentOS.

My mails always end in up in the file /var/spool/mail/root.
This is the command:

I have tried moving out the /etc/ldap.conf as well as /etc/openldap/ldap.conf files. I have LDAP Authentication turned on in the TUI. rhn-profile-sync - Update system information on Spacewalk server.
SYNOPSIS
rhn-profile-sync [options]
DESCRIPTION
rhn-profile-sync is a client program that connects to "Spacewalk Server", "Red Hat Satellite" or "Red Hat Network Classic" and refreshes
the data stored for this system.
rhn-profile-sync updates data about installed packages, machine hardware, and virtual guest instances (if virtualization is enabled).
OPTIONS
-v, --verbose
Increase the debugging output.
--proxy=PROXY
Specify an http proxy to use.
--proxyUser=PROXYUSER
Specify a username to use for an authenticated proxy. This option must be used in conjunction with proxyPassword.
--proxyPassword=PROXYPASSWORD
Specify a password to use for an authenticated proxy. This option must be used in conjunction with proxyUser.
--version
Show the program's version number and exit.
