Problem when I try to create a directory on Solaris 8

Dear Gurus of solaris
I have a problem when I try to create a directory

when I enter in the /home/ directory and try to create a new directory appear the following error

install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
