Let me guess, you assume it's not working because you don't see a ntop-* file anywhere in your home directory, right? That's because cron doesn't execute your script in your home directory, but in an empty temporary directory.
Tell wget to save to an absolute path, instead of a relative, and you should see your file.

However I want to run it every day at 8:00 AM and it does not run.

pwd - working directory name

prints the path name of the working (current) directory.
Options
recognizes the following options:
Display the directory with the name of the symbolic link if any.
If the environment variable contains an absolute path name of the current directory that does not contain the file names
