What you see in a formatted "pdf" file does not reflect in any form what is stored in the file.
The internal data of a "pdf" file has a lot of control and special characters that allow the
data to be displayed in an user friendly way.
In other words, you will not be able to directly read the data from a "pdf" file.

I can get the equipment from `hostname`.

NAME
Image::ExifTool::PDF - Read PDF meta information
SYNOPSIS
This module is loaded automatically by Image::ExifTool when required.
DESCRIPTION
This code reads meta information from PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) files. It supports object streams introduced in PDF-1.5 but
only with a limited set of Filter and Predictor algorithms, however all standard encryption methods through PDF-1.7 extension level 3 are
supported, including AESV2 (AES-128) and AESV3 (AES-256).
