They need me to implement a product in which this part is needed..I have done all the UNIX/SOLARIS/ORACLE related coding but this is the last portion which I am unable to do as I am very week in C,C++ and don't have much knowledge on MySQL.

Running ftp

If I disable ftp
disabled 2:54:00 svc:/network/ftp:default
I can still SEND ftp files out.
I cannot connect to this server via FTP, but why can I still connect to other ftp servers and send files?

DESCRIPTION
Describes the type of connection in use for the connection, including the server host name.
