I want to replace string in column,Example i have file caleed a1.txt ,want to replace string "A12" with "A23" only in column2 ,not from file itself.Using sed command replace string in file itself.

I need to replace the last 19 bytes of the following string
My_Org_Testing_20090102_231124.txt (Text_Date_Time.txt).
I would like to derive the current time using "date +%Y%m%d_%H%M%S.txt" and replace the last 19 bytes of the above string

DESCRIPTION
Igawk is a simple shell script that adds the ability to have ``include files'' to gawk(1).
AWK programs for igawk are the same as for gawk, except that, in addition, you may have lines like
@include getopt.awk
in your program to include the file getopt.awk from either the current directory or one of the other directories in the search path.
OPTIONS
See gawk(1) for a full description of the AWK language and the options that gawk supports.
EXAMPLES
cat << EOF > test.awk
@include getopt.awk
BEGIN {
