I would like to know how can I get lines from a text file that match no more than 2 '>'. Example:
Input file:
a >cr1 4 a>b b>c
a >cr2 5 a>b
Output file:
a >cr2 5 a>b

AWK programs for igawk are the same as for gawk, except that, in addition, you may have lines like
