No. Ed and I worked on the same team more around 14 years ago in the 1997 - 1998 time frame. That was a long time before he branched out on his own; he was just a year or so out of the university at the time (the most junior member of our team) as I recall.

I have the next problem, i am triying to concatenate two variables with white spaces at the cornes, but the shell deletes them.
For example i have the next code:
A="Hello "
B="Hello"
echo $A$B
output: Hello Hello

NAME
Bio::Graphics::Glyph::hat - The "hat" glyph
SYNOPSIS
See L<Bio::Graphics::Panel> and L<Bio::Graphics::Glyph>.
DESCRIPTION
This glyph draws an inverted V parallel to the sequence segment. It is different from other glyphs in that it is designed to work with DAS
tracks. The inverted V is drawn BETWEEN subparts as if you specified a connector type of "hat".
OPTIONS
This glyph takes only the standard options. See Bio::Graphics::Glyph for a full explanation.
