Hi Experts,
I have data coming in 4 columns and there are new line characters \n in between the data. I need to remove the new line characters in the middle of the row and keep the \n character at the end of the line.
File is comma (,) seperated.
Eg:
ID,Client ,SNo,Rank

I receive a file which is Dos format. When I view the file using vi, I was able to find ^M, ^@ characters in beteen records. I wanted to remove these control/special characters. When i used :set list in vi , i have seen a lot ^I characters in my file. Could anyone please help me how to remove this characters ?

DESCRIPTION
Graphics::Primitive::Insets represents the amount of space that surrounds something. This object can be used to represent either padding

METHODS
Constructor

Instance Methods
as_array
Return these insets as an array in the form of top, right, bottom and left.
bottom
Set/Get the inset from the bottom.
equal_to
Determine if these Insets are equal to another.
left
Set/Get the inset from the left.
right
Set/Get the inset from the right.
top Set/Get the inset from the top.
zero
Sets all the insets (top, left, bottom, right) to 0.
