I think that by running the script some of your files got replaced. For example, chp01_00001.wav is renamed to chp_bloomy_00001.wav, and chp02_00001.wav is renamed to chp_bloomy_00001.wav too.

I have 5000 files in a folder. all are .DAT files.
I want to rename them as .TXT files.
I tried the following command.
mv *.DAT *. TXT
But it is throwing an error. Can you please tell me what am i doing wrong.

-p, --port

Use device file port to communicate with the Palm handheld. If this is not specified, pilot-wav will look for the $PILOTPORT environment
