Take a look at privileges and the ppriv command in Solaris 10.
You can use RBAC to assign privileges to regular users. Be aware that this might compromise some (all) of your security.

Oracle 8.0 database is running on SCO-UNIXWARE 7.0 Operating system. Some how ORACLLE DATABASE has crashed. After rebooting the PC only the SUPER USER could login. No other user is able to login.

Whenever i switch from root to another user, by doing su - user, it takes me to home directory of user. This is very annoying as i want to be in same dir to run different commands as root sometimes and sometimes as normal user.
