Send e-mail to users
Dear all,

The perl script to send e-mail is working in my current script.
Code:
#This part of the script will send the email notification
my $to='mohamed.rahman@noridian.com';
my $from='xyz@hotmail.com';
my $subject='POS_CODES_38 DATA LOADED SUCCESSFULLY.';
my $message='The total no. of files loaded into the POS_38 table are:';

# send email using UNIX/Linux sendmail
open(MAIL, "|/usr/sbin/sendmail -t");
my $out = "testing";

## Mail Header
print MAIL "To: $to\n";
print MAIL "From: $from\n";
print MAIL "Subject: $subject\n";
print MAIL "Message: $message\n";
## Mail Body
print MAIL $out;
close(MAIL);

I want to add
Code:
$ perl -le 'print $==()=<>' 2011040875770.MBT.A0MW9693.NDM.HBIDT.AD38XADJ.txt

this in my e-mail functionality, which will send the e-mail to the user, with the total counts of the records loaded into the table.

How am i suppose to add this functionality in my existing perl mail functionality.

NAME

       claws-mail-newmail-plugin -- Message header summary to a log file.

DESCRIPTION

       This manual page documents briefly the claws-mail-newmail-plugin

       This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

       claws-mail-newmail-plugin is a plugin (loadable module) for the Claws Mail mailer.

       This plugin writes a summary of new mail headers to a log file.	Writing is done after sorting.

USAGE

       Before using a plugin you must instruct Claws Mail to load it on startup.

       For  this you must go ``Configuration'' menu on main window toolbar, open ``Plugins...'' dialog, click on the ``Load plugin...'' button and
       select the plugin file, named newmail.so, and press the ``Open''       button.

FILES

       ~/Mail/NewLog
		 Default filename where header summary is written.
