CentOS using sudo command
Hi, this is my first time posting here and am new to linux/unix. So here is my question.
I have two user account and a root account.
root
user account 1:calchen1
user account2: calchen2
Now i want to use the sudo utility to allows user to run programs with the privileges of another user. Basically to grant the superuser privileges to one of the two users that I created, so that the chosen user can perform important system tasks using his/her own password, without knowing the root password. So any advice on this one?
This is what I have so far for giving user account 1 superuser privileges.
"visudo calchen1 ALL=(ALL) ALL"
is that correct (school server is down, i have no way to test it)?
thanks
