Sorry, i couldnt understand the logic, actually i need unix commands to get the output. I am currently using ksh

I tried this command awk '{print $10 $11}' FS="," test.txt | sed -e "s/JUL/7/g" but that gives me the output as "7""09" whereas i need only 709 without double quotes.

This command only goes if i consider july as the month

Trying to change the prompt. I have the following code.

<${USER}@`hostname -s`>$ '
The hostname is not displayed
<abc@`hostname -s`>$ uname -a
AIX xyz 1 6 00F736154C00
<adcwl4h@`hostname -s`>$

Print first 10 lines of each FILE to standard output. With more than one FILE, precede each with a header giving the file name. With no
FILE, or when FILE is -, read standard input.
Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options too.
-c, --bytes=SIZE
print first SIZE bytes
-n, --lines=NUMBER
print first NUMBER lines instead of first 10
-q, --quiet, --silent
never print headers giving file names
-v, --verbose
always print headers giving file names
--help display this help and exit
--version
output version information and exit
SIZE may have a multiplier suffix: b for 512, k for 1K, m for 1 Meg.
