Hello,
does anyone have a script that can check the contents of the /tmp directory and for example e-mail the directory content if anything other than session files are present?
Maybe there are better ways to monitor suspicous /tmp and /var/tmp activity, if so I'm listening :) (1 Reply)

Do you know if we can shrink the size of the Swap under Solaris 8 ?
8Gb is already allocated to /TMP but we would like to reduce to 1 GB.

I am checking for a empty input file to do some further action , but I am getting exit status 0 in both the cases , for empty and non empty file both.
The value of $? is coming 0 in if part also and else part too.

DESCRIPTION
dbase_create(3) creates a dBase database with the given definition.
Note
When safe mode is enabled, PHP checks whether the files or directories being operated upon have the same UID (owner) as the script
that is being executed.
Note
This function is affected by open_basedir.
PARAMETERS
o $filename
- The name of the database. It can be a relative or absolute path to the file where dBase will store your data.
o $fields
- An array of arrays, each array describing the format of one field of the database. Each field consists of a name, a character
indicating the field type, and optionally, a length, and a precision.
Note
The fieldnames are limited in length and must not exceed 10 chars.
RETURN VALUES
Returns a database link identifier if the database is successfully created, or FALSE if an error occurred.
