volume group lun sizes and no of file systems for optimal performance

could you clarify this a bit?
as for the HBAs, we are really limited here as all HBAs on the server are in use...
* 2 for a VTL
* 2 for another disk system
* 2 for tape
so we'll have to share HBA's with one of the above (no other choice...),
it will be the 2 HBA's from the other disk system that will be shared with the new disk system.
We could also share the HBAs that are currently used for tape devices with our new disk system, but this seems like a much worse idea.
Though the device class FILE, at TSM level,works in a sequential way,
it will be writing in the background into files on an AIX JFS2 file system,
so sharing the tape HBAs seemed like a no go to me (though the FILE device class is sequential I/O at application level (TSM)) my head hurts..
Possibly we will try both (sharing HBAs with disk system first, afterwards share with the tape HBAs and see what gives best performance).

I have logical volume group of 50GB, in which I have 2 logical volumes, LogVol01 and LogVol02, both are of 10GB.
If I extend LogVol01 further by 10GB, then it keeps the extended copy after logical volume 2. I want to know where it keeps this information

vgremove - remove LVM volume group definition from the system SYNOPSIS
vg_name ... Remarks If a combination of volume groups version 1.0 and 2.0 or higher arguments are supplied, then the arguments might not be processed in the order they are listed on the command line. DESCRIPTION
The command removes from the system the last physical volume of the volume group and the definition of the volume group or groups specified by vg_name .... Since all system knowledge of the volume group and its contents are removed, the volume group can no longer be accessed. To move a volume group from one system to another, use the command instead (see vgexport(1M)). Before executing remove all logical volumes residing on the last physical volume by executing (see lvremove(1M)). Before removing a volume group, two steps are necessary: 1. Remove all the logical volumes belonging to the group by using the command (see lvremove(1M)). 2. Remove all but one physical volume belonging to the volume group by using the command (see vgreduce(1M)).
