Thank you all for the reply. I was basically flooded with optins and was bit confused which one to use. However, I have used the option given by Scrutinizer as I could comprehend it clearly. However, took note of all the commands which I can definitely use in future.

RETURN VALUE
Returns an xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_cookie_t. Errors have to be handled when calling the reply function xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_reply.
If you want to handle errors in the event loop instead, use xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_unchecked. See xcb-requests(3) for details.
