The BO1 is the starting pattern of the second line. In the 2nd line in position 30,31,32 i need to replace 111, instead of 3 spaces in the file i need 111. need a query for this.
the output file will look something like this: --
the 111 in the above file is exactly in the second line at position 30,31,32.

I'm writing a script which word counts the number of lines in two files. If one file is bigger than the other I'd like to edit one of the files to delete some lines to make both the same.
