Power Replace multiple occurances of same character with a single character.
Hi all,
Greetings,

I have the following scenario, The contents of main file are like :

Unix|||||forum|||||||||||||||is||||||the||best
so||||||be|||||on||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||it

And i need the output in the following form:

Unix=forum=is=the=best
so=be=on=it

The logic being that multiple and consecutive occurances of the special character, here - pipe , should be replaced by a single special character.

Please guide.

       alcc - text based eD2k links calculator for aMule

SYNOPSIS

       alcc [-p] [-v] <inputfiles_list>

       alcc [-h]

DESCRIPTION

       Compute the eD2k links of all the input files given in the <inputfiles_list> (There can be one or more files).

       [ -p, --parthashes ]
	      Compute and add part hashes to the computed eD2k links.

       [ -h, --help ]
	      Prints a short usage description.

       [ -v, --verbose ]
	      Be verbose - show also calculation steps.
