Where are you putting that code ? In the "preinstall" section ?
Also instead of the above script, you could just define that dir in the spec file and get the rpm to create it. If its created by another package (rpm -qf /dir), then name that package in the "requires" list in the spec file.

Hi,
I need to install an rpm file,but I only have '.src.rpm' version of it. I want to convert it to a binary rpm.
so I tried this
rpm --rebuild somethin.src.rpm
But I am gettin '--rebuild:Invalid option' as output
Is there another way to rebuild source rpm.?

The finsio driver provides support for the Fintek F71805F, F71806F, F71862FG, F71872, F71882 and F71883 LPC Super I/O chips.
Only the Hardware Monitor device is supported and it provides you to monitor the sensors through the envsys(4) API.
