The problem that I'm having is that I've setup IPMP on the private interconnects and, when testing the setup by pulling one of the Ethernet cables the database stays up, when i pull the second cable the dbase loses communication.

Hi All,
I have unplumbed one interface.
after that ifconfig -a shows that
lo0: flags=2001000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,VIRTUAL> mtu 8232 index 1
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000

Dear All,
I have configured IPMP in one of my SUN machine which is having solros 9 version. I have updated all files like /etc/hosts,/etc/hostname.ce0 and /etc/hostname.ce1 and rebooted the server. But IP's are not mounted which i have given in /etc/hosts file.

but when i run the ifconfig, it show me alot of extra virtual interface, may i know how to remove it?

dbase_get_header_info - Gets the header info of a database
SYNOPSIS
array dbase_get_header_info (int $dbase_identifier)
DESCRIPTION
Returns information on the column structure of the given database link identifier.
PARAMETERS
o $dbase_identifier
- The database link identifier, returned by dbase_open(3) or dbase_create(3).
RETURN VALUES
An indexed array with an entry for each column in the database. The array index starts at 0.
Each array element contains an associative array of column information, as described here:
o name
- The name of the column
o type
- The human-readable name for the dbase type of the column (i.e. date, boolean, etc.)
o length
- The number of bytes this column can hold
o precision
- The number of digits of decimal precision for the column
o format
- A suggested printf(3) format specifier for the column
o offset
- The byte offset of the column from the start of the row
If the database header information cannot be read, FALSE is returned.
