I dont think so. You could may be compile the kernel for RHEL.5.2 and change your boot configuration. Don't see another way of doing this

Good day. I have a machine with 5.3 installed but I do not have the cds. I have the 5.2 cds and when i boot in maintenance mode I cannot mount my root volume group. The plymouth sends commands to a running plymouthd. This is used during the boot process to control the display of the graphical boot splash. OPTIONS
