Can this be disabled? interface turned of when console cable plugged in.

Whenever I plug a console cable into the back of my sunfire v240 it automatically turns of bge0 which is the interface that connects to my network and the only interface i use on the box (and it stays shutdown until reboot). I'm writing a script that will search for files with the SUID bit turned on, and put the list in a file called id.txt i read that files with the SUID bit turned on are chmod'd to 4000, so i tried: find / -perm 4000 > id.txt also various others such as -perm 4777 etc etc but it found nothing... vnc freezes when monitor turned off and on

Hi, i have some issues with the vnc viewer or vmware-player/console. Always, when the Monitor turns of by it self or by me pushing it, the Viewer freezes.
