Changing back the OBP from the RSC.
Thanks again Kumarmani,
Can get into OS, and OS is Solaris 10.....
After about an hour Solaris comes up on screen, asks for password to enter.
But prior to that approx 5 min or so I get a white screen where ok prompt usually comes up.
I will try getting into directory today to see if that suggestion works, will let you know how that goes.

I have done a reboot for SUN Solaris 8 ( model SUNFIRE 280R)
but i havent got the OK prompt i only got the following:

Dual Port Memory Test, PASSED.

But I am not able to telnet this machine
Packages installed :
#pkginfo -l | grep SUNWrsc

I rebooted system but still I' not able to take rsc.

NAME
suninstall - install the Solaris operating system
SYNOPSIS
suninstall
DESCRIPTION
install-solaris(1M) is now the preferred command for starting and restarting the Solaris Installation program. It should be used instead of
suninstall. suninstall is symbolically linked to install-solaris.
suninstall is a forms-based and graphical subsystem for installing the operating system.
suninstall exists only on the Solaris installation media (CD or DVD) and should only be invoked from there. Refer to the Solaris 10 Instal-
lation Guide: Basic Installations for more details.
suninstall allows installation of the operating system onto any standalone system. suninstall loads the software available on the installa-
tion media. Refer to the Solaris 10 Installation Guide: Basic Installations for disk space requirements.
