letz say that my file has 7 records with only one field. So my file has:

All i need is:

Hi,
I need and expression for a word like abc_xyz_ykklm
The expresion should indicate that the word starts with abc and end with ykklm but does not contain xyz string in the middle.
Example: abc_tmn_ykklm is ok and abc_xyz_ykklm is not Ok.
Please help.

if ($stringvariable =~ /have not typed/)
I have a little problem because the 'not' in the expression gets highlighted as a kind of a '!'..what am I supposed to do in this situation?

I have the following regular expression to pick up comments

This only checks if the comment tags start at the beginning if the line
I want that for the '!' tag, a comment can start at any column position. I would consider a comment anything after the !

Options oggz-comment accepts the following options: Listing options -l, --list List the comments in the given file. Editing options -o filename, --output filename Write output to the specified filename. -d, --delete Delete comments before editing. -a, --all Edit comments for all logical bitstreams. -c content-type, --content-type content-type Edit comments of the logical bitstreams with specified content-type.
