Partition Resize / Creation
Hello,

I'm new to SCO and I require some help...

I have an OLD HD which is about to die and I want to replace it with a new HD.

When I clone the HD with either Acronis or Ghost it wont allow me to resize the UNIX partition and I'm stuck with 80% of the new drive as unused space.

I haven't figure out how to use BackupEdge to backup and recover the system *trial version*

Is there a free way to resize the partition?
Or can I create a new partition / division, copy all the files from my current partition and change the auto mount paths?

Any help is appreciated!!!

NAME

       addpart - tell the kernel about the existence of a partition

SYNOPSIS

       addpart device partition start length

DESCRIPTION

       addpart  tells the Linux kernel about the existence of the specified partition.  The command is a simple wrapper around the "add partition"
       ioctl.

       This command doesn't manipulate partitions on a block device.

PARAMETERS

       device The disk device.

       partition
              The partition number.

       start  The beginning of the partition (in 512-byte sectors).

       length The length of the partition (in 512-byte sectors).
