Well, if your "sh" really is the Bourne shell you can't have arrays...

What does this show:

ls -l `which sh`

If you can't use a newer shell that supports arrays, perhaps you could adapt your code a bit like:

while read fld1 fld2 fld3 .... fldn
do
        SIZE=$fld4       # 0 = 1st field
        NAMES=$fld8

#        You must know how many fields you have?
#        numOfFlds=${#flds[@]}

        echo "\nMoving the $NAMES to $NAMES.$DATE PriceFile..."
        echo "\nHost is $HOST..."
        echo "\nPlease wait... while rebuilding the $NAMES Pricefile with size $SIZE "
        echo "\n\nFinished rebuilding the $NAMES Pricefile with size $SIZE !!!"
done < /tmp/PFList.txt
