I m trying to do FTP from command line....
As previously i m able to do FTP , but in between I pull out server from LAN and again connected it.
After that facing this problem....
As considering to passwd i m typing correct passwd... I tried out with 2-3 users still its not connecting.........

I have turn off the FTP service and rebooted the server .
(edit /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/inet/services)
Now , how can I enable back the FTP without rebooting the server .

i am a sap-programmer and i sent pdf-files via FTP from sap (on an iseries-machine) to a UNIX-server every day.
i am doing it via MPUT *.pdf

i make some changes in the /etc/ftpd/ftpaccess , and after that i restart the service with #svcadm refresh /network/ftp:default but the changes dont take efect , i also trie with #svcadm restart /network/ftp:default with the same result

install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation,
install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation:
For SPARC machines:
128 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
128 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
384 MB
Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation
For x86 machines:

Minimum physical memory for all installation types
