That makes it sound like you just started programming, and are thinking that writing your own shell can't be that hard, since there are so many around. Well, the source code for KSH93 (which has far less features that zsh) comes in at roughly 2.5 MiB of code, and that's not counting any supporting libraries from the same archive.

I need to comment the lines starting with pattern "exclude" or "exclude=". If the work exclude comes at any other part, ignore it.        If the programmers used a delayed "require", those files won't show up.	Furthermore, this doesn't show all possible files that get opened,
       just those that those up in %INC.  Most systems have a way to trace system calls.  You can use this to find the real answer.  First, get a
       baseline with no modules loaded.

	   $ strace perl -e 1 2>&1 | perl -nle '/^open("(.*?)".* = [^-]/ && print $1'
	   /etc/ld.so.cache
