I downloaded unrar from sun-freeware website (unrar-3.68-sol8-sparc-local.gz). After gunzip, I then did:

install -c /usr/local unrar-3.68-sol8-sparc-local

I'm not sure if that was right. Am I installing it correctly?

Hope you can help as I need to open .rar files immediately.

Server details: SunOS CoreNetworks2 5.8 Generic_117350-22 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-2500

Thanks!
install -c Smilie
I've never used such option. pkgadd -d to install any package Smilie
