I have confgured this printer in AIX 6.1 by the following steps ...
  1. Smitty
  2. Print Spooling
  3. AIX Print Spooling
  4. Add a Print Queue
I Selected from the box this kind
hpJetDirect Network Printer (HP JetDirect)

then

Hewlett-Packard

then

Other (Select this if your printer type is not listed above)

then

generic Generic Printer

then

2 Do NOT make this system a BOOTP/TFTP server



Names of NEW print queues to add
ASCII [printer]
GL Emulation []
PCL Emulation []
PostScript []

Printer connection characteristics
* HOSTNAME of the JetDirect Card [printer]
* PORT [9100]

OK

This is the kind of the printer

It's printing fain but in Arabic it's giving some garbage fonts .


Is there solution for this issue ?
