I have to count the number of AddressRecords formed in bbc.xml file using unix script file. For example: for below pasted file, I need to write an output to a log file as "No. of Address Records Created=4".

I have created one shell script in which it will count number of "~" tilda charactors from each line of the file.But the problem is that i need to count each line count individually, that means. if line one contains 14 "~"s and line two contains 15 "~"s then it should give an error msg.each... httppower is a helper program for powerman which enables it to communicate with HTTP based power distribution units. It is run interac- tively by the powerman daemon. OPTIONS
