hello..
if you want to change the resolution then you better put a vga="blah blah" on the command line paramater in you grub.conf file or at the boot time edit the command line.
there are various values for resolutions . check a manual for it.
do the other monitor has a different resolution?

I want change my CRT resolution from 1152x900x** to 1280x1024x75 on a Solaris platform but I try "/usr/sbin/m64config" and "/usr/sbin/ffbconfig" command, the both commands failed :-(
In the /dev/fbs/ directory there is juste one file : cgsix0

I searched and found something about kdmconfig, but it's not installed.

grub-editenv - edit GRUB environment block
SYNOPSIS
grub-editenv [OPTION...] FILENAME COMMAND
DESCRIPTION
Tool to edit environment block.
Commands:
create Create a blank environment block file.
list List the current variables.
set [NAME=VALUE ...]
Set variables.
unset [NAME ...]
Delete variables.
-?, --help
give this help list
--usage
give a short usage message
-v, --verbose
print verbose messages.
-V, --version
print program version
Options:
If FILENAME is `-', the default value /boot/grub/grubenv is used.
There is no `delete' command; if you want to delete the whole environment block, use `rm /boot/grub/grubenv'.
