Ultra 10 Creator 3D: enabling onboard VGA
Hello,
I have an Ultra 10 Creator 3D working fine with a Sun monitor, but I'd like to use it with a VGA flat panel (it would be great if I could use both screens simultaneously).
As I've read in a previous thread (
Creator 3D Video Adapter) this box as an on board VGA adapter. When I plug into it a VGA screen nothing comes out there. Is there a way to enable/disable such an on board VGA adapter? Maybe mine is disable and needs enabling?
Ideas, please?

Hi all,
I have customized tool that displays PCI device information (something similar to the linux - "lspci") . Now, I need to display information only on "plug-in" cards. Are there any ways to distinguish between "on-board" PCI device and a PCI "plug-in" card.
Thanks,

vga_getgraphmem
vga_getgraphmem(3) Svgalib User Manual vga_getgraphmem(3)
NAME
vga_getgraphmem - returns the address of the VGA memory
SYNOPSIS
#include <vga.h>
unsigned char *graph_mem; /* This declaration is already in vga.h */
unsigned char *vga_getgraphmem(void);
DESCRIPTION
returns a pointer to the 64K VGA frame buffer window. vga_setpage(3), vga_setreadpage(3) and vga_setwritepage(3) allow to select which
page of the VGA memory shows up at this position. vga_setlinearaddressing(3) maps all VGA memory at a consecutive memory area (if the
hardware supports it). In this mode, vga_getgraphmem() will return the location of this area too. You can also access the global variable
graph_mem, which will also contain this address.
Most demos, esp. vgatest(6) show the simple direct use of this function to access screen memory.
