I need a script (perl or awk..anything is fine) to join 3 files based on three key columns. The no of non-key columns can vary in each file. The columns are delimited by semicolon.
For example,

I tried tee but it writes to STDOUT , which I do not want.

So my code is

however $$ is converting to a number .

SYNOPSIS
asnmacro [-] [-b] [-d] [-e] [-i filename] -m filename [-o filename] [-p path] [-r path] [-s str] [-x str]
DESCRIPTION
asnmacro is a command-line tool to run Sequin macros on annotated biological sequence data represented according to NCBI's ASN.1 specifica-
tions.
OPTIONS
A summary of options is included below.
- Print usage message
-b Input is Binary
-d Output is binary
-e Input is a Seq-Entry
-i filename
Single input file
-m filename
Macro file

Path to multiple input files
