Looks like you are using the HPUX cc which is a basic KR c , its there mainly to recompile the HPUX kernel...
Either you pay for HP ANSI C (but there is a C++ lib patch...free... used for e.g. oracle...)
Or you install gcc you get at your prefered HP archive&porting site

I have a ton of files in a directory of the format app.log.2008-04-04
I'd like to run a command that would archive each of these files as app.log.2008-04-04.tgz
I tried a few combinations of find with xargs etc but no luck.

This class is a AltaVistaCareers specialization of WWW::Search. It handles making and interpreting AltaVistaCareers searches

OPTIONS
The following search options can be activated by sending a hash as the second argument to native_query().
The only available options are to select a specific location. The default is to search all locations. To change it use
